Reverse Cell Phone Directory: Does a Legitimate One Exist?
The cell phone or the mobile phone is one of the most
useful devices in today's society. With it, people are able
to communicate with loved ones as well as business
associates far more effectively than ever before. Keeping
in touch has never been easier with mobile phones.
Convenient as mobile phones are, there are also some
drawbacks. You have to remember that on every good thing,
there is always a dark side to it. Because mobile phones
are private numbers, you will see that it can be hard for
you to look for someone's mobile phone number.
This means that if someone is harassing you through calls
or SMS on the cell phone, it can be quite hard for you to
trace the owner of the number as mobile phone numbers are
unlisted on public phone directories.
So, how will you be able to know who is the owner of the
cell phone number calling you?
To answer this question, you will want to take a look at
some of the available reverse cell phone directories.
However, the question still remains if one even exists or
if a legitimate one exists. You will see that there are
quite a few websites that offer this kind of services.
However, you need to remember that cell phone directory
services don't come for free. Unlike public landline phone
directories, which is available for the public for free.
However, private numbers, such as cell phone numbers and
unlisted land line numbers will not show up in these public
phone directories.
If you want to know who owns a particular cell phone number
calling you or keeps on sending you SMS, you might want to
use the reverse cell phone directory services.
You can look and do your own research on the internet in
order for you to save money, but searching for the owner of
the number on the internet is almost impossible and it can
take quite a long time.
If you want to search for a number the easy way, one way to
do this is to conduct your search on paid online reverse
cell phone lookup services. For a minimum cost of 15 to 20
dollars, you will be able to access the database of cell
phone number directories.
However, you need to make sure that do a search from a site
is reliable and also will be able provide accurate
information.
This is your best option as it will take you as little time
possible, and it will also be a lot cheaper than hiring a
private investigator.
Try going for the website that offers reverse cell phone
directory with a money back guarantee. This way, you will
be able to get your money back in case the directory
doesn't help you find what you are looking for.
Customer support is also important. With this feature, it
will make it easier for you to find the owner of the cell
phone number that is calling you or sending you text
messages.
So, all in all, legitimate reverse cell phone directories
do exist. However, keep in mind that you need to first find
the legitimate ones as there are a lot of websites existing
that offer these services that doesn't provide accurate
information or only provides limited information.

Social Security Number Search: How to Find a Person's SSN
The United States government originally used a social
security number, which is also know as an SSN, as a means
of taxing a person. In recent years, however, the social
security number has become an easy means of identifying a
person for many legal purposes.
Looking up a person's SSN can tell you a lot about them.
Every social security number is different, so, if you know
a name and SSN, you can quickly access many public records
about a person.
The biggest reason that you may want to do a search, based
on a person's SSN, is if you are an employer who is looking
to hire a new employee.
A social security number search can verify that the person
is who they say they are, for tax id purposes. After all,
identity theft is a common problem in recent years.
Beyond that, though, a social security number search can
also tell you a person's traffic violation history,
criminal history, credit history and several other
important facts. As an employer, you can never be too
careful. You always want to be sure that the person you
are going to hire is fit for the job.
One way to look up a person's SSN information is through
the United States Social Security Administration. On their
website, you can conduct up to ten social security number
searches each and every day. It is a free service,
provided by the United States government.
Aside from the Social Security Administration's website,
there are also many other online resources available to
you. Different websites have different fees, so be
careful. You may want to check on a website's reputation,
before researching on it. One way or the other, though,
you should eventually be able to find information on
anyone, as long as you have their name and social security
number.
If you have tried to search for someone's SSN on your own
with no luck, or if you simply do not have the time to
conduct the search yourself, you can enlist the services of
a private investigator instead. Private investigators will
give you up to date, accurate information. However,
accuracy and speed can be expensive. Be prepared to pay up
to one hundred dollars or so per search.
The bottom line is that you can never be too careful these
days. So, if you are going to go through the motions of
conducting interviews and reading resumes anyway, why not
take it a step further? Arm yourself with all the
information you can, by doing a social security number
search. After all, SSN information is a matter of public
record and it can be a big help in making your final
decision.

================== ARTICLE START ============ ======
Google dominates the search engine world, despite the fact that
the conversion-to-buyer rate at MSN is much higher. This forces
most ecommerce businesses to try and dance Google's waltz,
without fully comprehending the ins and outs of how Google
works.
Navigating Google is difficult. Most SEO optimizing specialists
and SEO Internet marketers do not understand what they are
doing. In fact, most of them are so far behind the times that
their information is useless. Summer 2007 saw the latest change
in Google's algorithm leaving many ecommerce businesses with
sharp decreases in traffic.
What is a Google Algorithm
The Google Algorithms are basically the math formulas used to
determine which web pages rank high in the searches, and which
ones rank low, or are banned. Google changes the rules every 18
- 24 months to help them sweep away websites that are not
optimized and MFA (Made For AdSense) static sites.
Google also makes changes to meet the needs of the webmasters.
When Google brought in their inbound link ranking system, it
gave many webmasters an opportunity to build link farms, gaining
an unfair advantage. In response Google now looks for content
around a link. If there is no content, then the link has no
value.
When Google started to focus on content, webmasters and
programmers created Content Management Systems. Unfortunately,
until recently, Google could not read database pages. Now, the
programmers have created a static page method of page creation,
and search engines learned how to read content off databases.
Search Engine Optimization
Many webmasters do not understand what this means. And, many
SEO optimizers do not understand what this means. To many, it
still means coding a page so that the keywords are highlighted,
and under .05% of the content (including link bars). They
believe it is a method of web design.
Ecommerce businesses are still scrambling to pay SEO optimizers
big bucks to make their pages rank high, when meta tags and SEO
tricks have very little importance. Now, the search engines are
looking for good content, with heading titles, and a site full
of similar content, with articles linked together using the same
`keyword anchors.'
Google's new algorithms have made it possible for many small
ecommerce businesses to build their page rank, and search engine
rank, without ever paying a dime to a SEO specialist.
The Google Sandbox and Supplemental Index
Both of these cause chills to run up most webmasters spines,
but only because they are not understood, Google does not have a
Sandbox. Yes, it may take a few months to get your website
listed and showing up, inbound links may not appear for a long
time, and a website may not show up when searched - but that is
not a sandbox. It is just a backlog. One way to overcome it is
to take part in Google's PayPerClick program. Even if you only
invest $20 a month, being a part of that program immediately
links your site, so you do not need to wait.
The supplemental index is as easy to get out of. First, take a
look at the meta information - is it too generic? If so, then do
not use keywords but use keyword phrases. The keyword
`ecommerce', is too generic, so is `ecommerce business.'
However, `learn how to start an ecommerce business' will help
that page target. Next, make sure the page is linked to a high
ranking page. This can be done by putting links inside the page
- or by adding it to the website's navigation system. Within a
short time, that page will no longer be in the supplemental
index.

Credit cards are often sought after by individuals who are
looking to transfer large sums of money from a high interest
credit card to a lower rate credit card that will in turn save
them money. These transfers, known widely as balance transfers,
allow people to steer away from varying rates of interest which
suck their wallets dry. High interest rates can be tough to
beat, especially if you owe a significant amount of money on a
card. That's why many people turn to credit cards such as the
ANZ First Card to alleviate them from the stress.
The ANZ First Card comes with a low 7% balance transfer rate,
which means you can transfer your current balance to the First
Card at a low 7% of the balance and then save with 44 days of
interest free purchases on the card.
The ANZ card is among the many consumer credit cards in
Australia that come with solid balance transfer rates. These
rates are great for the individual who is looking to save money
by cutting back interest. Security is second biggest reason for
getting a good balance transfer credit card. Security means
protection online and off with purchases, transfers and any
other financial activity.
Online fraud protection means that you have the highest level
of security on your card each and every time you purchase
online. You won't be responsible for charges that are made
without your knowledge or by someone who has gotten your
financial information. The ANC First Card will make sure that
you are protected on the internet and off. It isn't just a card
that helps in terms of balance transfers but one that assists in
security as well.
The First Card gives you the choice of having up to three free
additional cardholders on your account. If you want to have your
spouse or children on your account with you, you do not have to
pay an extra fee to make it happen. Just let ANC know and you
can have up to three additional cards sent to you at no charge.
The ANC First Card is one of several Australian choices for
great balance transfer rates and security purposes.

Getting Someone's Driver's License Number
Privacy laws have gotten more specific and strict over the
last fifteen years. The use of online information has
proliferated to the point where almost anyone armed with
just a little information and a willingness to spend some
money can find out a great many pieces of personal
information, including a person's driver's license number.
Having this data can lead to finding other information that
can be used for illegal purposes. Stalkers, identity
thieves and estranged partners can find people who
otherwise want to be protected and undetected.
Passed in the 1990s, the Driver's Privacy Protection Act
(DDPA) is intended to prevent just such invasions. It lists
specific reasons for legitimately accessing driver's
license numbers. Officials with the judicial system or
prospective employers have good legal reasons for getting
at these numbers. While the act has been amended to include
many of the technological changes of the last fifteen
years, ways to circumvent these safeguards are readily
available.
The Internet now provides many sites where you can access a
tremendous variety of information, some of which is
legitimate and some of which is not. Identity theft is a
huge problem now and a person equipped with a few pieces of
private information can steal money from unsuspecting
online shoppers and browsers. Some online sites state that
information thus gathered is not to be used for illegal
gain but that doesn't stop a thief hidden behind the
anonymity of the Internet.
The DDPA does protect against giving out some types of
private information - it does not restrict access to
certain types of public records. Some of these public
records contain sensitive private information which can be
then used to find out other, illegally usable information
such as a driver's license number. Driving records, some
legal proceedings, and real estate deals are all a matter
of public record and as such are accessible to the public.
Frequently, this type of record contains names, addresses
and other private data which can be parlayed into finding
really sensitive information.
Some of these online sites are expensive and do have
restrictions placed on them but are still usable for
finding someone and their information. States are enabled
to set up their own laws for curtailing access to private
data so it would be wise to explore what other avenues are
open to you for finding this type of information. Of
course, hiring a private detective can be useful if you are
willing to go that far.

================== ARTICLE START ============ ======
In 1998 where the dotcom booming reached its peak, eBay, the
world's first online auction site became even bigger. It started
to encourage people to list more than just collectible items,
and rapidly became a gigantic website where you could sell
almost anything you have in mind, large or small, from an
antique coin to an aircraft carrier. eBay survived the end of
the dotcom booming and is still going strong today.
Ultimately, eBay bought out half.com, an Amazon-like online
retailer, in the year 2000 (the same year it introduced "Buy it
Now" feature) and finally acquired PayPal, the largest online
payment service, in 2002.
Pierre Omidyar, the founder, has now earned approximately $5
billion from eBay, and still serves as Chairman of the Board.
Strangely enough, he still keeps his personal weblog at
http://pierre.typepad.com. There are now literally millions of
items bought and sold every day on eBay, by professional traders
and ordinary folks from all over the world. It is once estimated
that for every $100 spent online worldwide, $14 is spent on
eBay. That means; eBay owns 14% share of total global spending
on the Internet.
With that said; who dares to defy its influence?
Now that you know the history, perhaps you'd like to know how
to make money on eBay? Well, there are a few little things that
you have to keep in mind if you want to get started.
Making money on the world's biggest online auction site is
basically a single click away. eBay doesn't care who you are,
where you live, what your background is, or what you look like.
The PowerSeller on eBay can be an old man from a large company
or a teenage girl you just met this morning on the street.
The bottom line is; everybody can have the same opportunity to
make money.
eBay tears down the barriers to earning a decent income that
the real world always puts up, because there's no job interview
and no commuting involved. If you can post things, then you can
make money on eBay. It's that simple.
For example; if you know some place to get a low priced item so
that you could resell it for a reasonable price, then you can
resell the item on eBay. And because you can get more discounts
if you purchase in bulk quantity all the time at wholesale
market, it's not exactly hard to make a living on eBay!
Now, if you want to test the water first before you get your
feet wet and commit to actually stock anything, then you can
just find things that you've got lying around in your house and
then sell them on eBay for a profit. Search through that
cupboard of things you never use, and you'll probably got a few
hundred dollars' worth of stuff lying around in there!
Believe me, there is always someone out there who wants what
you're selling, whatever it might be. The best part is; you
don't even need to do anything else to get them to buy your item
because they will come looking for it themselves.
And that is the true power of eBay.
